AND then...there were 3500.....!

3 5 0 0 0 , may seem just a number...But imagine just counting this like a clock , it will take an hour to count it in normal tone , with out any breaks.!!
NOW , this number is not just a number ...each and every one of this as you count is a person called " woman" picked from the streets .
Why??
Vague as it may seem to you, for not dressing up adequately....
Now imaging if this is going to continue, it will take at least 66 months to get through the Iranian population the idea of observing the dress code!
And of course for this range of activity, the SF has to conserve all their squadrons to make sure the operation is "effective" as assigned.
Now, the question is ....Why so much trouble?
I think the answer is clear for all of us here....

Shiraz on rampage! Good Old Unity !

Last night, thousands of students at Shiraz University began their protest over mandatory dress codes set by the school administrators. University disciplinary squads have widely posted warnings on bulletin boards warning students to strictly obey the dress code.

Students have begun their sitting chanting “death to dictator”, “release political prisoners”.
They have reached 7000 so far and insist that the Mayor resigned.

They begun with a small group of protesters and this quickly expanded to a huge crowd. The students revealed that the University Board had manipulated the University society in order to control the students every move. They controlled all transport, and asked for the resignation of the head faculty .

This week strikes and demonstrations have been on going in Universities.
In the North the students still carry out a sitting insisting the release of their friend who has been abducted by Islamic Republic agents.

Abduction in day light!!

Let me go …let me go..is the only thing one can hear from the video smuggled onto Youtube, that shows one of the active students of the North University of Iran being abducted by Iranian intelligence.
I felt heavy in my chest when I saw the scene..as if I was there too, and that my hands were tied and could not do a thing to prevent it .
I could only imagine myself in the shoes of the ones taking the video by using their mobiles…What would I do in such a case? Would I risk my liberties to save some one else? Or would I be an other bystander? A guest in the scene…
What is the price to be Human and how much do I have to pay to retain my conscience?
But is this not the question many Intellectuals are asking today in Iran?
I am sure there is no doubt about the nature of this Brutal monolithic regime. So I am left with this question, what would I give up for another person to help, when the time comes?
